ATMs, Kiosks and Payment Terminals

Lumio’s Virtual Interface modules provide OEM’s and integrators of products within these markets with secure, remote and configurable control surfaces for touch screen, keyboard or combined touch/keypad applications.

For ATMs the capability will prevent fraudsters inserting their own overly and recording keystrokes, now a regrettably frequent occurrence. The digital touch screen capability is housed behind the glass, remote from Vandals and does not degrade the brightness or clarity of the screen which is often in full sunlight and does not suffer from calibration drift or aging. The modules utilize components with high MTBF making them ideal for remote and dispersed locations and reducing expensive maintenance.

The Keyboard and Mouse area on ATM’s and Kiosks can use the same modules or additional redundant modules (for security) as the touch screen; different language or application configurations can be printed or embossed on the surface ensuring that OEMs have a robust yet highly customizable and cost effective solution for their customers.

For security access control, Lumio offers a remote, tamper-proof solution. Using either Lumio’s dynamic or static projected display capability or printed or embossed layouts inert glass, doors or walls can easily become interactive access controls with all the modules placed remotely and safely away from tampering or damage.

Almost identical modules can be deployed in POS payment terminals and pin pads allowing the placement of the pin numbers to be randomised for each user minimising the possibility of pin theft.
